# Live commands

> Choose who can start the Speed Tracker timer from TikTok chat.

**Live Tools > Live Commands** controls the TikTok `!timer` command. It requires premium, a team server, and server admin access.

`!timer` starts the Speed Grid timer for 180 seconds. It listens to the shared live source selected in **TTS Settings > TikTok TTS > Live Source**.

Choose an access mode:

| Mode | Who can trigger the command |
| - | - |
| **Mods** | TikTok moderators |
| **Whitelist only** | The TikTok usernames you add to the command's whitelist |

Usernames are case-insensitive and saved without `@`. These permissions are separate from the Chat TTS audience and whitelist.
