# Speed Tracker and profiles

> Run speed dating rounds, manage profiles and MVPs, and configure the shared timer.

<Info>
  This is a **premium feature**. [Upgrade your plan](/getting-started/billing) to access it.
</Info>

Speed Tracker coordinates live speed dating rounds. It requires premium and a team server. Team admins and designated server admins have access; other members need [Speed Dating permission](/getting-started/teams#feature-permissions).

## Run a round

Open **Live Tools > Speed Tracker**. Add profiles, then drag participants from the waiting list into the grid's host, co-host, focus, and panel positions. Use the search to find people by name, city, status, slot, or TikTok username.

Profiles store participant details such as age, location, gender, preferred age range, and TikTok username. The TikTok username links gifts to the correct profile during gift races.

* Generate an icebreaker question and display it with the question overlay.
* Start or reset the shared timer for a round.
* Record matches, friend outcomes, or passes as the round progresses.
* Use the gift race to run a viewer-supported vote-off.
* Generate AI insights or send a profile rundown through Chat TTS when available.

The grid can warn when a participant appears to be matched on another server. Review the warning before recording a new match.

## Profiles and MVPs

The **Profiles** page lets you search, edit, and manage participant records and outcomes. The duplicate-review page helps review possible duplicate profiles. Deleting profiles requires the separate delete permission unless you administer the server.

Use **Make MVP** when creating a profile, or **Add From Profiles** in the MVP dock, to mark standout participants. Remove an individual entry from the dock when it should no longer be an MVP. TTS and Spotify each have their own **Allow MVP Profiles** switch; placing someone on the dock does not enable those integrations by itself.

Unmatching sends both profiles back to **Waiting** and preserves match history.

## Grid and timer settings

Open **Speed Tracker > Settings > Grid & Timer**.

| Setting | Behavior |
| - | - |
| **Grid Matching Mode** | **Two-way** shows mutual, focus-only, panel-only, and no-match states. **Focus-only** checks whether a panel participant's age range includes the focus participant. |
| **Timer Title** | Sets the label on the default running timer overlay. Themed styles keep their own labels. |
| **Timer Overlay Style** | Chooses the countdown design, including themed styles. |
| **Timer End Sound** | Classic buzzer, boat horn, basketball, super alarm, or toilet flush. |

Settings apply to everyone viewing the server's tracker. Copy the countdown URL from [Overlays](/features/overlays).

The **Live Source** tab selects the same TikTok channel used by Gift Race and Chat TTS. [Timer Gifts](/features/timer-gifts) can extend a running countdown once; [Live Commands](/features/live-commands) controls access to `!timer`.

<Note>
  TikTok TTS requests are blocked while the speed dating timer is running. Finish or stop the countdown before queuing narration.
