BrewBot Messages lets approved contacts chat with your server’s AI and request BrewBot actions through iMessage. This is a premium feature under Engagement > BrewBot Messages. Message delivery must be available for your deployment before contacts can use it.

Configure Messages

Enable the integration and choose a mode: Choose an AI model or use the team default. Select a Default Discord Channel for actions that need a destination, then enable the allowed actions. The iMessage experience settings control how replies behave.

Approve contacts

Open Contacts and select Add Contact, or approve a number in Pending Approval after it texts BrewBot. Set the phone number, optional display name and Discord ID, and a contact role: Guest, Member, Admin, or Owner. Pending contacts cannot chat or run actions until approved. Contact action overrides can narrow or customize the integration’s allowed actions; leaving all unchecked inherits the integration list. These contact roles are separate from dashboard team roles. BrewBot replies after inbound contact and respects opt-out messages. Review the contact’s active and opted-out state when troubleshooting missing replies.

Contact status

Contacts can use the public contact-status page to check the number they use to text BrewBot. It reports approved, pending, opted-out, disabled, or unknown contact status. An opted-out contact can text START to opt back in.

Conversations, jobs, and memory

Conversations shows recent message threads and actions. Jobs shows action requests, confirmation state, bot-worker results, and failures. Sensitive actions can require a typed confirmation before they run. Agent Connections adds tools such as Brave Search and Cursor Cloud Agents under the same policy checks.
Clearing iMessage Memory removes stored iMessage conversation history and pending confirmations. This is separate from clearing Discord AI chat history in Bot Settings.
